Is there anything as good as fish oil to get omega 3?

I’ve heard fish oil is much better than flax oil but I’m a vegan so I won’t take Fish Oil. Any suggestions?
Well, ground flax seeds are good and so are hemp seeds and walnuts.
Who says fish oil is better than flax oil? The fishing industry? One thing fish oil has that flax, hemp, and walnuts don’t is mercury.

I just discovered hemp milk………It’s a great alternative to soy milk, tastes delicious and is full of omega 3 and omega 6. You can also try hempseed oil or hemp powder. The brand I tried is Living Harvest. Here’s a link to their website:

They sell vegan DHA ectracted from blue-green algae oil.
You can also find flax oil with DHA added, there is a brand called Udo’s that is found with the refrigerated flax oil and says "DHA" on the center of the label.

Whoever said that fish oil is better than flax is another brainwashed omnivore. Flax is high in omega 3, contains no cholesterol, and is more easily assimilated by the body. The meat industry leads everyone to believe we can’t function without meat/animal products, but clearly we can. I use flax oil, and also use ground flax disolved in warm water as a vegan egg substitute for baking-allow it to gel for a couple of minutes, and you get the exact consistancy of an egg. It makes awesome pancakes with quinoa or bean flour.

Seeds and Nuts.
They are chock full of healthy fats, both omega 6 and 9, they are also a great protein source.
Walnuts and almonds are particularly fatty and tasty.
Avocadoes are great too.

evening primrose-is an herbal alternative. i think if you’re concerned, go a head and take a combination of the vegan friendly options
