Posted under Fish Oil Benefits
For additional information visit: http://www.zimmerscope.com/apraxia.html
This is a video of 33 month old Owen after taking fish oil for 6 months after his Verbal Apraxia diagnosis. He has made incredible progress in a very short period of time. Not all children with Apraxia will be responders to fish oil, but the ones that do respond generally make dramatic progress, such as Owen did. Please visit the web page I cited above for further information and resources on Apraxia, and treating Apraxia with a Fish Oil supplement.

Believe it or not, your children are not as interesting to other people as they are to you. Nothing personal, it’s true of all parents. I’m sure she’s happy for you but leave the poor lady alone.

i’m not sure which country you’re in, but in england i’d recommend you try and get an early years specialist teacher to see him and they may refer to an educational psychologist (they’re called school psychologists in the states). good luck.

I keep hearing all …
I keep hearing all this stuff about fish oil. My son has a speech disorder. it hasn’t been diagnosed officially as apaxia but i would be a million dollars he has it. He’s three and a half and i wish he said a quarter of what owen says. Does fish oil really make that big of a difference?

I am planning to …
I am planning to use the Nordic Naturals also, the woman at whole foods told me they are the best. My son is 29 months and has been placed as having severe dsapraxia. How much do you usually use? This is the one missing factor I can not find. I am assuming it’s whatever the manufacturer recommends but I also know that sometimes they super dose these things. We all appreciate your help so much, as there is very little information available regarding the fish oil.

nordic naturals is …
nordic naturals is the best brand of fish oil. But you can also give him Hemp Seed Oil (Manitoba Harvest brand) which is better since it has the best ratio of omega 3s out of BOTH Flax and Fish oil

Hi. I am not sure …
Hi. I am not sure if it would help or not, but it wont hurt so it is worth a try. I would start at a higher dosage, maybe 2000 mg, and work up to about 6000 mg. Take a high quality brand, like Vital Choice, Nordic Naturals, or Carlsons. All of those are sold online, just google them and then order on their websites. Good luck!

So, how does this fish oil work?.. My 33 month old has a speech delay, would it help him?
I’m interested in trying this since it’s getting really frustrating for both me and my son that we can’t communicate as well as we should.
